An Otaku in military...

Ever since I went to the military, I have had so little time to post otaku like posts in this blog, but still, that does not mean that I'll stop reading mangas, watching animes and playing games. The mangas I have read so far have only been limited to the popular mangas, such as Naruto, Ane Doki and Beelzebub, but during the weekends, I'll try to read new mangas again! So today, no list of mangas read, and games played.

However, I can finally can say that I got Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness! That game rocks! I just beat it once, and am aiming to get Laharl over level 1000+, as well as create a divine majin, but that will take kinda long and many hours of my life, perhaprs even day...

Anyhow, also got the new Tekken 6 for my PSP. Frankly, it is a great game, though I am kinda disappointed by the fact that there are fewer extras than Tekken Dark Ressurection. Gameplay and everything else is awesome. Great continuation for the Tekken series.

Also, for all the Disgaea fans out there, found out the Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days for the PSP is being released on the 5th of February, in Europe that is. The moment it's out, I'll grab one and never let it go again!

Which reminds me, During my time in the military, I have finally read/watched my 600th manga/anime! The 600th one on my list that I have read/watched is a manga by the name of Happy Valentine. I think that is a oneshot or smth, since I recall that it only had one chapter...

The Resurrection of the Otaku

Well, here I am again, alive and well. I guess the last time I wrote in this blog, I guess I was still reading GTO. Well, a lot of time has passed, and I tried reading Eyeshield 21. I'm glad I did. That manga was one of the best mangas I ever read, though I still like Naruto more. There are more mangas I read, but I can't bother writing most of them down, where the same goes for animes, so I'll just list down the ones I remember:

Mangas read:
  • Naruto*
  • Onidere*
  • To-Love_ru!*
  • Eyeshield 21*
  • Grenadier
  • Aki Sora

Anime watched:
  • Needless
  • Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
  • Ginatama*

Games played:
  • Madden 08 (PSP)
  • Valkyrie Profile Lenneth (PSP)
  • End War (PSP)

Otaku Corner:
All I can say is that there is no more To-Love-Ru! Frankly speaking, I am kinda dissapointed with the ending, since there are far to many things left open. First of all, who does Rito really love? What aboout Yami? Is she just going to stay in Earth the whole time? Is Rito really going to marry Lala? If yes, what about Haruna? Well, at least they left it open for a sequel...

Another thing that dissapointed me is the final arc in Eyeshield. Don't misunderstand me, the manga is great, that match between the USA and Japan was great, but I only hoped that there would have been more to see with the other matches involving Japan, such as Japan versus Germany or something, since Germany had a really good player, it just seemed, as if everything was just rushed in the final arc...

Well, that's all for now, I'll try to write next time again, as soon as possible, latest may be in a week...

Not many mangas read today...

Well, since I am still continuing reading GTO, I didn't have the chance to read a lot of mangas. Well, anyhow, here are today's updates:

Mangas read today:
  • Great Teacher Onizuka*
  • I Fell In Love For The First Time
  • Spicy Fever
  • Kin no Angel
Games played today:
  • Phantasy Star Portable
Sorry, still no otaku corner today...

No Otaku corner today...

Well, just read GTO, and some updates. No new mangas read today. That's all.

Mangas read today:
  • Great Teacher Onizuka
  • Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi
  • The World Only God Knows

Games pleayed today:
  • Star Ocean, Second Evolution
  • Phantasy Star Portable

Started reading GTO...

Well, I was rather unsuccessful into finding a new yonkoma manga to read. Instead I started reading Great Teacher Onizuka...

Mangas read today:
  • Great Teacher Onizuka*
  • GAsh Bell*
  • Hajimete no Aku*
  • Yankee-kun to Megane chan*
Animes watched today:
  • Pokemon
  • Digimon Adventures Season 2
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!GX

Otaku corner:
I recently started reading Great Teacher Onizuka, and to my surprise, I really liked it. At first I was skeptical, seeing the cover and reading the summary, that a yankee becomes a teacher only to hit at girls, but then I started reading it, and the more I read it, the more I liked it. There were so many scenes where I laughed so hard, I mean I started to cry due to laughter, and I hardly cry because of laughter. I can only recommend this manga...

Oh, and there are new updates to many mangas, such as Gash Bell, Yankee-kun to Megane chan and Hajimete no Aku. These week's chapter were really worthwile reading. They were still hilarious and dramatic in a way.

On the search for some more yonkoma mangas...

Well, I just started reading Azumanga Daioh again, since I didn't read it for awhile, though I completely started it from chapter one, until the last chapter. I just love their slapstick comedy. Therefore, I'm in the mood into finding and reading another yonkoma manga. I hope I can find one...

Mangas read today:
  • Azumanga Daioh*
  • Onidere*
  • Medaka Box*
    Little Busters
  • Great Teacher Onizuka

Anime watched today:
  • Digimon Adventures Season 2

Games played today:
  • Breath of Fire III

Otaku Corner:
Well, I have completely gone through the manga Azumanga Daioh in two days. Sounds incredible, huh? Not really, since this manga only has three volumes, with at least thirty seven chapters and three supplimental chapters extra. I can really recommend this manga, since I really found myself laughing out loudly to some of their jokes. This manga is a yonkoma manga, which means that there are four panels that tell the story, two four panels in a page.

I'm glad that there are new chapters of Medaka Box. This new chapter seemed to be really hilarious, really worth reading as one can find him or herself laughing a lot due to the comedy there. That's all there is.

Not many mangas found today...

Well, I couldn't find any notable mangas to read today. Thank God that there were updates to some other mangas though...

Mangas read today:
  • Ann Cassandra*
  • Oniichan Control*
  • Ane Doki*
  • Melty Blood Act 2

Games played today:
  • Breath of Fire III

Otaku corner:
Well, the manga Ann Cassandra has reached it's conclusion. Frankly speaking, I was hoping for a more extravagant ending, since the ending that we were given just leaves a few things open, one of them being, if Banchou ever broke his last prophecy, that that he will die on his birthday, though the ending was still OK I guess...

Another manga that finally has a chapter released is the manga Oniichan Control. The first chapter was released some time April or May. It's about a guy who has a deep love towards his younger sister, a love that is more than just brotherly love, and the same for the younger sister to her elder brother. This manga is kinda disturbing, but still hilarious in some way.

The newest chapter of Ane Doki also seemed to be pretty hilarious. I just have to wait for the newest chapter though...

Some new mangas to add to my list...

Well, I spent the day reading a bunch of mangas. Nothing much really.

Mangas read today:
  • Shugo Chara
  • Bushido Sixteen
  • Gash Bell*
  • The World Only God Knows*
  • Super Dreadnought Girl 4946*
  • Lollipo Unlimited
  • Yuuhi no Ochiru Jikan
  • Beelzebub*
  • Kampfer
  • Onidere*
  • Fly High

Games played today:
  • Breath of Fire III
Otaku corner:
I'm glad that there was a new update to the manga Beelzebub. I've been waiting for that manga the whole week, wanting to know what will happen. I was hoping to see some action with Oga, instead, this week's chapter seemed to be really hilarious with Furuichi using Baby BL's thunder.

This weeks Gash Bell chapter seemed to be pretty intense. Gash still has not woken up after using Baou Zakeruga, however, we do get to see Tio's new spell. I guess the fight against Zeon won't be concluded this month...

Also, the newest chapter of The World God Only Knows seemed hilarious. I just love the part that he calculated how many hours forty days are, saying that he approximately has one thousand hours worth of playing games, and that he could already enter "God Mode" since he was in first grade. LOL

There were some new mangas that I found today, which I though were pretty eye catching. One of them was Super Dreadnought Girl 4946. This manga is pretty unique concerning the plot, since it's about a 50 meter tall girl that battles aliens and falls in love with a normal high school student. The artwork is pretty good, and it is really hilarious. I found myself laughing out loudly a lot.

Another manga, which I though we be really worth reading, would be the manga Fly High. The artowrk for this manga might be like any other Shoujo manga, but the plot is really intense. It has left me wanting for more, since it really makes me sympathize with the protagonist and make me develop feeling of hatred towards the antagonists. I just hope newer chapters get released...

Today's update...

Well, today I had a lot of time to watch anime whole heartedly, which I did. I managed to find some realy mangas as well as animes. Well, enough jabbering, here are today updates:

Mangas read today:
  • Naruto*
  • The Frog Prince
  • Onidere*
  • Zettai Karren Children*
  • Hanayashiki no Juunintachi
  • Fairy Tail*
  • My Barbaric Girlfriend*
  • To-Love-Ru!*
  • Bushidou Sixteen

Animes watched today:
  • Macademy Wasshoi*
  • Green Green
  • Pani Poni Dash
  • Asura Cryin*

Games played today:
  • Breath of Fire III (PSP)

Otaku corner:
I'm glad that the weekly Shounen Jump chapters are out. This weeks Naruto seemed to be pretty unexpecting. I was expecting some pretty good arguments from Naruto to the Raikage, instead all we see, is him kneeling down to him asking him to forgive about Sasuke's action. Womder what will happen next week, and what does Sai have to say to Sakura?

Also, finally there are new chapters of Zettai Karren Children other than omakes. This new chapter seems to be the conclusion of the Life Savers arc.

Concerning this week's To-Love-Ru's chapter, I just had to laugh so much. The unthinkable happened, Yami falls in love in Rito! LOL! Though it was only because of Celine's spores which she released in her drunk state after drinking cola...though it was still hilarious, especially the scene when she tries to feed Rito with some Taiyaki...

And lastly, after weeks of waiting, a new chapter of My Barbaric Girlfriend got released. It seemed to me as if this some chapters were left out before this chapter, though it was still hilarious. I wonder if the manga is coming to it's end though, or if somehow it'll still continue. I wonder how the end will be, if Akira will get his body back from Momoi, or if they will just stay the way they are...

I finally finished watching Macademy Wasshoi. I have to admit, this was one of the best animes I have watched so far, with all those ecchi humors, and the "disgsuting" parts. This anime is highly recommended. The artwork is superb, and the plot kinda random, but still existent. I do not know if there is a season two, but I strongly hope that there is.

Once I finished watching Macademy Wasshoi, I started searching for another anime, where one of them was Green Green. It was another harem anime. (I kinda a weak sppot for harem mangas and animes). The artwork was really good, though plot kinda thin though, you know, the typical boy is surrounded by girl and gets into accidental ecchi sitations type of story, no real originality.

So I got bored of this anime and started searching for another. I landed up watching Pani Poni Dash. Even though I already read the manga, the anime seemed to be pretty interesting. The artowrk is good, and the plot sticks to the manga closely. I would also recommend this anime, though knowing the plot I started searching for another anime.

Lastly, I found an anime called Asura Cryin. I think that this anime is really excellent concerning the plot as well as the artwork. This is another harem anime, though this time, the female protagonist is a ghost which only the male protagonist can see. Sounds lame? Then thrown in random mecha fights between light and darkness, a female cyborg who has guns in her arms and legs and a pyrokinetic girl, and we have a cool anime.

Well, that's all for today.

Bunch of updated mangas!

Well, most of the mangas were updated today today! Yaaay! Though since I have a slow laptop, I really did not get the chance to watch some animes today, except the 3rd rate ones on the Austrian tv...

Mangas read today:
  • Mahou Sensei Negima!*
  • Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi*
  • Onidere*
  • Baka and Boing
  • Kaze no Stigma
  • Ageha o Ou Monotachi
  • Hayate the Combat Butler*
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days*
  • Minus Literacy
  • Shugo Chara!

Animes watched today:
  • Pokemon
  • Digimon Adventures Season 2
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!GX

Otaku corner:
I'm just glad that most of the popular mangas were updated! Especially Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi and Mahou Sensei Negima. I can't wait to see that next chapters, especially the fight with Kenichi and Ethan Stanley, this week's chapter was just amazing! And what about with Mahou Sensei Negima? I just hate ambigous endings! Is there going to be a fight between Rakan and Fate? Also the development in Onidere, LOL, a fiance for Saya. I swear, that manga is really hilarious plotwise! (Though I wish the artwork would improve)

Also, there were a bunch of new mangas released in Onemanga. One of them was Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This is the manga for the Nintendo DS game of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The artwork of the manga seemed pretty decent though, and plot wise, I can say that it fills many plot holes from Kingdom Hearts 2.

Another new manga I found today was Baka and Boing. The artwork strongly resembles many other mangas, where one of them would be Ichigo 100%, though they do not have the same artist. It's a manga really worth reading. Here's the summary from onemanga.com:
"Taichi Yamada is what you would call a fan but he is not just any fan, he is a fan of Kokoro Shiina, a gravure model. Maybe it was fate that brought them together that day but Taichi met Kokoro when she literally fell from the sky. Waking up in the hospital, he begins to see Kokoro's spirit and after roaming the hospital premises a "shinigami" arrives to take Kokoro to the underworld. Is this the end for Kokoro? What will Taichi do to save his beloved idol?!"

Found some new animes to watch...

Well, went out today, and since all my friends were busy, I decided to go and watch some animes in the UN. Not much done really. I also didn't get my game today: 'Disgaea, Afternoon of Darkness', and it has been almost three weeks since I ordered it from ebay. I'm starting to wonder if it will ever arrive.

Animes watched today:
  • Princess Lover
  • Sister Princess
  • Macedemy Wasshoi*

Mangas read today:
  • Gash Bell*
  • K-ON!*
  • Shinigami Trilogy
  • Undead (TERASHIMA Masashi)
  • Zettai Karen Children*
  • Needless
  • Minami-ke*
  • Boku x Kano
Otaku corner:
This is something new that I am adding from now on. I'll just comment on some mangas, games and animes that I have just found or think that are worthwhile commenting. That's all.

The mangas I read today seemed pretty decent, though I started a new one, the 'Undead (TERASHIMA Masashi)'. The story seemed pretty good, since it seemed kindaoriginal, and it wasn't really copied from another manga, though it seems the artwork for the manga could need some improvement.

There are also no current updates to Zettai Karen Children, since Mangafox only releases various omakes, though they still seem to be hilarious, though it can only be understood if one reads the manga. So I will have to wait until the next chapter is released...

Needless also seems to be a good manga. The artwork is good, the story kinda dark, but in general it seems to be a good manga that's worthwhile to read.

Concerning the animes that I watched today, Princess Lover seems to be a good anime to watch, since it has various elements which suggest it worthwhile, where one of them would be the artwork. Princess Lover is a drama/harem/comedy anime. The artwork of the anime just seems to be perfectly drawn. I have watched a more than a dozen of animes, and already, at the first episode of this manga, I can see that the artwork is really good. I love the story, since many harem anime just focus on fanservice and the 'moe level', this one also works on the plot, having the protagonist search for the murderers of his parents, and at the same time searching for allies and foes alike, which mainly consists out of big breasted girls...

The other anime I started watching, 'Sister Princess' is rather...weird. This is another harem manga, only that this time, the girls that are around the protagonist seem to his imouto, or in other words, his sisters...12 of them. The story itself seems random, and there really is no fanservice as their really are no ecchi scenes in this anime, nevertheless, it still is a comedy anime, and it does have some moments where one can laugh a lot. It is kinda 'moe', that that their are cute thing there, though seeing the artwork, I guess this is an old anime...

Macademy Wasshoi is one of my favorite. The artwork is really good, and plot wise, well it may seem random, but at least the comedy in it is really good. Again, this is another harem anime, with a lot of ecchi scenes, but the (un)lucky protagonist's reaction seem to be hilarious. Seriously, this is really worth watching!!!

I return!!! The return of the otaku known as C3

I return after a months absence, and so far, there are tons of animes and mangas that I have read and watched, some games that I have played. Normally, I would try to list all the games, mangas and animes that I have played, read and watched during the timegap I had since the last post I had in my blog, but I'm afraid, that I possibly couldn't list so many mangas, animes and games at a time, so the least I can do, is list the ones that I think i can remember.

Found a new anime to watch...

As the title implies, I have found a new anime to watch and to kill time with...

Am back!

My father cut my internet, since it was so high last time, so now I have to go to public computers in order to read my mangas online, which means that I can probably read mangas once a week now! I'm already suffering from manga withdrawal symptoms...

Other than that, I was only watching animes that the German TV was offering, and playing Final Fantasy XII. I also started playing Pokemon Diamond version for the Nintendo DS, since I got extremely bored. Just today I bought Phantasy Star for the PSP, and I love it!

Still bored...

I decided to stay home today, and frankly speaking it was very boring. but if I went out, I would have spent unneccssary money for the bus fare, and lunch, since I intend to buy a game tommorow. So basically I spent the morning playing Final Fantasy X and the Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker. I also spent the afternoon watching the anime series that the TV offered, sadly though, they were in German, I tried to limit my manga reading, since my dad would lynch me if he saw the internet bill...

A "boring" day...

Well, I had the house all for myself today, and frankly, I was bored out to my mind! I spent the morning playing games, and the afternoon watching animes that the TV offered (all of them were German! AAARGH). I really have to get a new game, or else I'll die of boredom.

I started replaying Final Fantasy X, though I do not find as much thrill as I did the first time I played it through. Out of boredom, I tried to play Luigi's Mansion...big mistake. I started disk 4 for Final Fantasy IX, but I do get bored from the repetetive fighting to train my party, since I am not yet ready to face the final boss. Also, I decided to start a new game for The Legend of Zelda, The Windwaker. Might not be as good as Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess, since the graphic sucks and the dungeons are too easy but there are good thing that I appreciate in that game, which is the story and the control, especially for fighting.

Lastly, I just don't know what to get though, either Final Fantasy XII for the PS2, or Valkyrie Profile Lenneth for the PSP, since they are both 30 Euros...

Games played today:
  • Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy X (PS2)
  • Luigi's Mansion (GameCube)
  • The Legend of Zelda, The Windwaker (GameCube)

Anime watched today:
  • Pokemon
  • Digimon
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Naruto Shippuuden
(Note: I did not watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! out of free will. I was bored to death. If people are bored, they find themselves doing weird and wonderful things)

Mangas read today:
  • K-ON!
  • 090 - Eko To Issho
  • Hayate The Combat Butler
  • Tona-Gura!

Did a lot of gaming today!

Since my father was out of the house today, having to take pictures and such, I practically hada nothing to do today, so I decided to play some PSP and continue playing Final Fantasy 9. I beat the 3rd disk, and now, I only have to play through the 4th to beat the whole game. I am also continuing playing Tales of Eternia. I will have to go out this week in order to find some good games for the PS2 and my PSP.

I also finally beat Cress in the one on one challenge on the Arena in Tales of Eternia, and obtained his sword Eternal Sword and a bandana called Cress' Bandana. He was by far the hardest opponent I had to face during the game, far more harder than Shizel, the last boss...

I did not read a lot of mangas, since if I did, my father would complain about the high internet bill, so instead I just read one and played more games...

Games played today:
  • Final Fantasy 9 (PS1)
  • Tales of Eternia (PSP)

Mangas read today:
  • Yankee-kun to Megane-chan

Had a lazy day today...

Well, my first day of the holidays, and I all I did was read mangas and play with my PSP. I really can't wait until Final Fantasy Dissidia is released. I heard that the release date for the game is on Spetember for Europe, it just makes me so angry! I really wanna have it right now! It is already out in Japan since last year I think, and in the US it's released earlier, so why do I have to wait so long???

Mangas read today:
  • Beelzebub
  • To-Love-Ru!
  • Nagasarete Airantou
  • Jump Super Stars

Games played today:
  • Tales of Eternia (PSP)

No More Exams!!!!!

Since I do not have any more exams to worry about, I can finnaly read as much mangas and watch as much animes as humanly possible!

Also, I am planning to buy the PSP Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, though I am kinda skeptic as to how good the game really is. I've seen the gameplay in YouTube, and to say honestly, I am not really convinced. Though I have to try it first, and when I am not satisfied with it, I can always return it. Or maybe I should get Final Fantasy XII instead, since I found it as well, and I always wanted to play it, since I heard that it has a good story, gameplay, graphics, so on, so forth, well, I can only judge once I have to game! I just wish that Final Fantasy Dissidia will get realeased soon, since I was waiting for that game ever since I heard about, which was I think two years ago...

Also starting today, I am going to list the games I played throughout the day, since I do not need to study for the exams anymore!

Mangas read today:
  • Naruto
  • K-ON!
  • Tona-Gura!

Games played today:
  • Tales of Eternia (PSP)

Watched some animes...

Well, even though I had an exam today, that still did not stop me from watching animes and reading mangas. So, I finally was able to watch some animes online after a week (one reason being that I had to study and the other being that my laptop is awfully slow, so loading 10 minutes of a video may take 30 minuted or more...)

Animes watched today:
  • Happy Lesson
  • ToraDora!

Mangas read today:
  • S Senjou no Tena
  • Spas-Pa!
  • Gift - Under the Rainbow
  • Koibana Onsen

Replies to Zenmanga today...

Well, after thorough thought about the offer of Zenmanga, I decided to accept their offer, and link their website to this blog, so I went to their website and gave my reply to their forums...

Other than that, a new chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist has been published today! All I have to do is wait for a new chapter of Mahou Sensei Negima and perhaps Ai Kora (Love Collage)...

I also did not look for any new mangas to read, since I continued reading Zero In, and am planning to only start looking for new mangas once I finish reading all the chapters that are out, since it is still incomplete...

Mangas read today:
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Watashi ni xx Shinasai
  • Zero In

Got an offer from Zenmanga...

As the title implies I got an offer from Zenmaga.

  • Zero In
Animes watched today:

Apparently, I also got an offer from zenmanga.com to exchange links. I got convinced however, when I saw their website. They have an amazing program concerning the mangas that one has read and that one is still continuing to read. I literally cried when I saw how it takes to change from one page to another...

Though it does not offer a variety of Mangas such as Mangafox, the quality and the speed has convinced me to sign up their. I'm gonna try to contact them, since I would be proud to exchange links, the question however, is how...

I really want to finish watching Kamen no Maid Guy that I started yesterday, but my laptop is too slow. It takes 1 hour to load 10 minutes from a video in youtube, I'd rather stick reading mangas until I can get a hold of a computer somewhere...

Watched Kamen no Maid Guy...

Well, after my exams today I finally had the chance to watch Kamen no Maid Guy in youtube. Honestly, it surpassed all my expectations, and I love it! I'm gonna watch more of it. I also started watching Happy Lesson. Guess that's an OK anime...

My 510th Manga!

Too bad that there was no Weekly Shonen Jump released today, since it is a public holiday. I really wanted to read the new chapter of Naruto...

I am currently waiting for the new chapter of My Barbaric Girlfriend (also known as Your and My Secret), and if my laptop weren't so slow, I would have started the anime Kamen No Maid Guy. I recently just finished watching the anime Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and am currently watching Toradora. Also, I finally found my 510th manga (I keep all the mangas and anime that I have watched and read in a little booklet), which is called Gift - Under the Rainbow, though once I finish it, I'll have the problem of finding a new manga to read. I just hope that a new chapter of To-Love-Ru will be realeased tommorow online, so that I can read it...

Mangas read today:
  • K-ON!
  • Spas-pa
  • Sketchbook
  • Psycho staff
  • Gift - Under the Rainbow
  • Hajimete no Aku

  • Honey Coming - Sweet Love Lesson
Also, I wonder when the new chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist will be realesed, as well as Nagasarete Airantou, Tona Gura and Ai Kora. It has been almost a month, and still there are no new chapters...
