CRISIS!?! THE END OF THE ONLINE MANGA WORLD???

Even though it has been an awful long time since I last wrote something here, this time, I think that is a sort of emergency. The Big Three manga, well, Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, those three are licenced now! Onemanga.com has gone down, since many authors demanded that their series be licensed, and Mangafox.com has removed those three. Currently I am searching many manga websites that still offer us to read Naruto, Bleach and One Piece for free, without downloading or payment. Though it is kind of hard, here are some sites:

In search for new mangas again!

Well, ever since I started reading Bakuman, and am now up to date, I started looking for new mangas once again.

Anyhow, all I gotta do is wait until the 10th of September, since that is the EU release date for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for the PSP!

Started reading Bakuman

Out of boredom, I decided to try out the manga Bakuman, and so far, it does seem a little interesting...

In search for a good manga

Well, time must have flown, since it was around 2 months since I last wrote something here. I guess there's no point listing the mangas/anime/games that I have gone through, since there were anyway a lot.

Otaku Corner:
Basically, what I thought was worthwile noting down, was the end of two great mangas, Fullmetal Alchemist and Lock On! Where one of them ended nicely, which, I mean Fullmetal Alchemist of course, the other one, Lock On! that is, well, the end really sucked, and I mean sucked. There were so many things left open...it just annoys me. That manga just had so much potential, and maybe could even rival the big 3 (of course I mean Naruto, Bleach and One Piece). Lock On! really reminded of To-Love-Ru! since both of those mangas had dumb and open ended endings, where most of the issues as to which of the girls the protagonist is going to chose. I mean, in Lock On! a rival was established, two love interests were established, as well as a mysterious character in the past of the main protagonist was established, which, if used properly, could extend the plot, and put a sudden twist to it. All of those issues were left unsettled in Lock On! it just annoys me so much!!!!

Otaku Crisis!

Oh no! The internet at home is striking, it just does not want to work! I am writing this from my dad´s laptop, so, so far I can only say that I will have to halt further otaku activities until the crisis is solved. However, the only mangas I will keep track on, are of course Naruto, Lock On! and...well, let´s just say all the popular mangas...

Though I am heartbroken that I won´t be able to research new mangas for my "already read/already watched manga/anime list", it will only be for an indefinite time. Once there is internet again, I´ll writing daily! But until then, once a week will have to do...

Oh, yeah, and for the people from CR, sorry, but I won´t be coming for awhile...

Got Pokemon HeartGold!!!

Otaku Corner:

Yaaay! Finally got Pokemon HeartGold for the Nintendo DS!!! A friend brought it over from the US. It's actually really good, like the old one, just better! That's why it's called re-make I guess...
Anyhow, graphic wise, it's like Diamond and pearl. Gameplay is better though, where the menu is already in the touchscreen, which makes a bunch of things easier. Also they added some of the story of the anime in the game, like the hunt for Suicune. Anyhow, no more spoiler, just play it!

Well, I'll keep it short today. Dead Space. Awesome Wii game. Must Buy!!! Basically, like most horror survival game, survive agains't a horde of monsters. But here's the catch: Your in outer space. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Just survive. This game is a ego shooter, 1st person point of view. Well, up to you to buy it though...

So, I'll just have to wait until other mangas will be updated during the course of the week. Weird though, since the Manga, Nagasarete Airantou hasn't been updated for quite awhile...

I got to play FFXIII hell yeah!!!

Otaku Corner:
Well, as the title implies, I got to play Final Fantasy 13 today, and frankly speaking, it's an awesome game! I mean, it's a freaking CG movie, and I'm not only talking about the cutscenes, you know. At first, in the first chapter of the game, I though that it would be kinda boring...how wrong I was. After playing more intensively, I saw how huge the gameplay system is, and how far one can customize the characters, for ones liking to the game. Though I am kinda dissapointed by the fact that at the beginning, the game seems sort of linear. There are no sidequest whatsoever, and no towns/cities to explore. At the beginning until the end, we are thrown straight into action, into a dungeon, and the task is to explore the dungeon. But still, it's an awesome game!!!

YAAAAY, new chapter releases!

Finaly, after months of waiting, there's a new chapter of Highschool of the Dead! I was satisfied with the fact that this time it was over 40 pages worth of reading! I just hope, that it won't take another few months until they release another chapter of it...

Also Fairy Tail chapter 180 got released! I was just overjoyed to see that Erza and Gray saved Lucy and Happy...and that Natsu got to use his magic again!!! XD

Sadly enough, at mangafox, the last chapters of Guradian dog were posted today... T_T

Which reminds me, I gues I have to start reading Bleach again, it's just, that it kinda annoys me that they're still fighting the same fight, even after over 50 chapters or more!

Otaku corner:
Well, this time, I decided to talk about the game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Basically, for those who don't know what's going on, it's between the first game and the second game, well, really the gameboy advance game before the second game, where Sora, Donald and Goofy are asleep. We get to interact with Sora's Nobody instead, Roxas. As Roxas, we get to see his days in organisation XIII, and what his role was at that time...

Well, anyhow, what surprised me at this game, was the fact that the gameplay was almost identical to the it's predecessor games in the Playstation 2. Since it had the free flow movements of the first two games. Graphics is surprisingly good, no excellent, for a Nintendo DS game, and the voice acting is superb. Story wise, well, it get's most fans hooked, making them to play more, since it does fill a lot of gaps and questions that may have arised in Kingdom Hearts, though honestly, I could say that most beginners would get lost. Though as I said, people will love this game, since of it's gameplay, really.

ANYHOW ONLY 74 DAYS UNTIL KINGDOM HEARTS BIRTH BY SLEEP FOR THE PSP WILL BE RELEASED!!! WOOOOT

Believe or not, it's the otaku corner once again! After months of not having one... T_T

Well, basically, this time, the only thing I can recommend is the manga known as Guardian Dog. That Manga has caught my attention, and keeps my yearning for more! Well, basically, it's about parasitic aliens coming to earth and taking over some humans in order to live as humans. The main character is suddenly caught up in all of this, and finds himself caught between something which might determine the fate of humanity. Well, no more, I don't want to spoil the whole fun. The author, Shirakawa Akira, did a good job with the artwork. I, personally, did not find anything wrong with the style and the way it was drawn. The manga itself it a shounen type manga, so expect a lot of action in it, and what does most shounen mangas have? That's right! Ecchi scenes! There are some ecchi scenes to be found here, so a lot of fan service for all you 2d otakus! Well, That's it for today, I guess!
